Ssd macbook pro 2012 no clone11/10/2022 ![]() ![]() ![]() If I restart and attempt to boot it again, the SSD no longer appears as an option. These two symbols flash back and forth randomly. Supports 4 size of SSD 2230,2242,2260,2280 (with of 22mm Length 20mm, 42mm, 60mm, 80mm) (The SSD in the picture is not included) Supplied with USB 3.0. ![]() For Macbook Pro Models: A1398 MC975 MC976 and Macbook Air Models: MD224 MD223 MD231 MD232. (Supports SATA protocols only) Supports B+M keyed SSD. Initially, the disk can be seen as a bootable option, however once selected the screen goes white I changes between a circle with a line through it and a file folder with a question mark. M.2 (NGFF) SSD to USB3.0 adapter MacBoook Pro 2012. I also tried cloning the harddrive of my roommate's MacBook Air (Early 2015), then booting it in my MacBook Pro. If it has failed once, the SSD can still be found in disk utilities, but it disappears as a drive option for installing OS X. However, and independent verification shows no problems with the SSD. After I format the SSD and began the installation, I quickly got the message, "Could not verify". Next I tried an older OS X, Yosemite and that also failed. I tried installing El Capitan via a bootable USB thumbdrive, however that failed due to several error messages that read "TSplicedFont failed". The original hardrive failed so I bought a new SSD to replace it. I've been trying to install an SSD in my old macbook pro (2011 I believe). ![]()
